Delicious

I have heard about Delicious through graduate classes, word of mouth, and icons on internet news sites, I've just never tried it before. I can see this being very helpful for me as I am searching for new websites on specific topics. I was surprised at how easy it was to search for topics using the tags. I already found an interesting website about engineering education that will be good in my work. One of the biggest advantages is that you can see whether people like websites that are (I assume) interested in selling you something. The disadvantage, however, is the inconsistencies that inevitable occur when people create their own tags. In my professional setting this will be a new source I use to track useful websites for me but also to look for new sources of information that my patrons are frequently looking for.

Here is my attempt at SLA's 23 Things. I hope that by mastering some of these things I will be able to better serve the patron's of my library. Here goes nothing!
